Authentic Sorrento Peninsula Experience

This tour offers a glimpse into the real life of the Sorrento Peninsula, far from the bustling tourist hubs of Sorrento and Positano.

Pickup is typically at 9:00 am from your hotel or 8:00 am at the port. Your journey begins as we drive along the picturesque scenic road that leads to the farthest reaches of the Sorrento Peninsula.

We’ll stop at Termini, a charming village that offers one of the best panoramic views of the island of Capri. This small village, nestled between the Bay of Naples and the Amalfi Coast, provides an ideal setting for capturing breathtaking photographs and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere.

You will have the opportunity to visit a local mozzarella farm to witness the traditional process of mozzarella cheese-making, where you can also enjoy a tasting of this famous product. Continuing the tour, we’ll visit a Limoncello factory, where you can learn about the making of this iconic lemon digestif, a specialty of the region.

Our drive will then take us up to Mount San Costanzo, where you can enjoy panoramic views of both the Bay of Salerno and the Bay of Naples from an altitude of 550 meters. It’s a perfect spot to take in the beauty of the peninsula’s coastlines and surrounding landscapes.

If your visit aligns with the olive harvest season (October), we’ll include a stop at the Gargiulo Family’s olive press, where you can see the traditional olive oil-making process in action.

Of course, no tour of this region is complete without enjoying a delicious, traditional Italian lunch. We’ll stop at a cozy, family-run trattoria, such as Eughene's Restaurant, where you can savor homemade dishes made with locally sourced ingredients.

As we make our way through the region, you’ll have the chance to visit several quaint villages that offer a glimpse into authentic life on the Sorrento Peninsula, including Massa Lubrense, Sant’Agata sui due Golfi, and Annunziata.

For those interested, we can extend the tour to include Positano with a few additional hours, offering the chance to explore this picturesque coastal town, famous for its colorful cliffside houses.

This experience can also be combined with a cooking school day in the area, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the flavors and culinary traditions of the Sorrento Peninsula.
