NAPLES - ARCHEOLOGICAL  MUSEUM

The would start at 8am at Naples port or Hotel. Pickup elsewhere is also possible. We would start with a sigthseeing drive througth Naples to give you an idea of this beautiful city. Naples is the capital of the Campania region. The city is the third most populated municipality (city proper) of Italy, but the second metropolitan area, after Milan. It was founded between the 7th and 6th centuries BC by the Greeks and was named Neapolis, which means new city.

The drive will show you many beautiful parts of Naples as the Vomero and Mergellina with amaizing views over teh bay of Naples facing Mt Vesuvious. You will have the possibility to walk througth the center of Naples close to Piazza Plebiscito to make a bit of shopping if you want or just to admire the square, the teatro san carlo or Galleria Umberto I .

You will also have the possibility to taste the tipical Neapolitain Pizza (Margherita) for lunch.

After lunch you would reach to the archeological museum to visit it. WE calcolate at least 2hours free time for teh visit.The museum contains a large collection of Roman artifacts from Pompeii, Stabiae and Herculaneum. It is the most important Italian archaeological museum and is considered one of the most important in the world.

The tour ends at about 5pm back at Naples Port/Hotel or elsewhere.
